Donations for Quotes
At RVA Insurance Agency, we believe insurance can be used as a force for good in the Richmond community. Through our Donations for Quotes program, we give back to local charities, churches, and nonprofit organizations that matter to our clients, business partners, and team.
When a referral quote or web lead mentions this program and turns into a quote, we make a donation to a local nonprofit. We donate $10 for a home or auto quote and $25 for a home and auto bundle.
Since 2016, RVA Insurance Agency has donated more than $40,000 to local charities and hopes to cross the $50,000 mark this year with your help.
Meet Kurt Light
Kurt Light is the owner and founder of RVA Insurance Agency. As a hands-on business owner, he works closely with clients and stays involved in every part of the agency.
With more than 25 years of experience in the property and casualty insurance world, Kurt has spent his career helping people protect what matters most. He began as a claims adjuster, later moved into sales, and went on to launch RVA Insurance Agency in 2016.
Kurt attended Virginia Tech and has called Richmond home since 2001. He and his wife are raising five kids, and when he is not helping clients, he enjoys golfing, hiking around Virginia, paddleboarding, and spending time outdoors with his family.
At RVA Insurance Agency, Kurt’s goal is simple: provide honest guidance, personal service, and coverage that fits each client’s needs without pressure.
